Menka Lamba
Menka Lamba is a Managing Director and Client Relationship Manager in the Global Credit segment, focused on working with investors in the Americas. She is based in New York.
Before joining Carlyle, she was a Managing Director at AGL Credit, the firm founded by Peter Gleysteen and the late Thomas H. Lee. Menka led fundraising efforts for Institutional Investors in the United States and Canada. Prior to that, Menka worked at Highland Capital, focusing on credit solutions for U.S. Pensions, Endowments & Foundations. She also spent time at Bloomberg, leading the launch of their capital introductions offering. Earlier in her career, Menka was involved in Business Development for Bay Harbour Management, Exis Capital, and she also worked at FrontPoint Partners, a subsidiary of Morgan Stanley Investment Management. She began her finance career at Wyser-Pratte, a European focused activist fund.
Menka is a Founding Board Member of the Columbia Business School Women's Circle. She earned her MBA from Columbia University and her BA in English Literature from Wellesley College.
