Masahiko Fukasawa

Masahiko Fukasawa is a Managing Director and Head of Global Portfolio Solutions Japan. He is based in Tokyo.

Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Fukasawa was a Senior Advisor at AlixPartners where he also held various leadership positions including Co-Head of Asia and Co-Head of Japan. Previously, he worked at Kearney for close to two decades where he was a Partner and held a number of roles including Head of Japan. He was also a Member of their Global Board and Chairman of the Strategy & Portfolio Committee. 

Mr. Fukasawa has served as a non-executive director at Fukuoka Financial Group and The Bank of Fukuoka since 2016. 

He holds a degree in Economics from Hitotsubashi University and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
