James Crenshaw

James Crenshaw is a Managing Director and Head of Credit Capital Markets within the Global Capital Markets team. He is based in New York. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Crenshaw was a Managing Director in the Global Financial Sponsors Group at BofA Securities. Mr. Crenshaw was responsible for providing advisory and capital markets services to private equity firms.

Prior to his time at BofA Securities, Mr. Crenshaw began his career at BlackRock.

Mr. Crenshaw received a B.S. from The University of Virginia and M.B.A from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School.
