Dimitri Fukunaga

Dmitri Fukunaga is a Vice President of the Carlyle Japan buyout advisory team. He is based in Tokyo.

Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Fukunaga was a Project Leader at the Boston Consulting Group Tokyo Office, which Ambassadorship experience to the BCG NYC office. At BCG, Mr. Fukunaga focused on new business development, risk management, digitization strategy, and change management, across Financial Institutions, Insurance, Automotive and Energy, Healthcare, Media and Public sectors.

Mr. Fukunaga joined Carlyle in 2020, and been involved with advising KANAMEL Inc. (formerly AOI TYO Holdings Inc.), Spiber Inc., and Seiko PMC Corporation. He currently serves on Board of Director at Seiko PMC Corporation.

Mr. Fukunaga received his M.S. and B.S in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Tokyo.
