Catherine E. Tenney

Catherine E. Tenney has been a Principal in the Real Estate Credit group at Carlyle since April 2022.  

Previously, Ms. Tenney was Senior Vice President – Investments at iStar Inc., responsible for the pricing, structuring, underwriting, negotiation and closing of net lease transactions, and administering and managing deals from origination through exit.  Prior to joining iStar, Ms. Tenney was a partner in the real estate department at Nixon Peabody LLP, an Am-Law 100 firm.  

Ms. Tenney received a B.A. from Harvard University and a J.D. from Georgetown University.
