Arleen Spangler

Arleen Spangler is a Principal in the Energy Mezzanine Opportunities fund. She is based in New York.

Prior to joining Carlyle, Ms. Spangler was a Director at NRG Energy, Inc. responsible for managing the enterprise-wide credit function. Before NRG, Ms. Spangler was a member of Morgan Stanley's Credit Advisory group, focusing on providing credit advisory and services to energy clients. Ms. Spangler also spent many years in Standard & Poor's Infrastructure and Energy groups, covering utilities and project finance transactions.

She holds a BA in economics from Randolph-Macon Woman's College and an MBA in finance from New York University.
