Allen Plummer

Allen Plummer is a Vice President and Global Head of Content on the Corporate Communications team. He is responsible for the strategy, quality, and execution of marketing and communication content for Carlyle.

Prior to joining Carlyle, Allen held multiple roles at index fund giant Vanguard over the course of 16 years, including Head of Content and Creative for the company's institutional business, as well as Head of Social Media, and multiple marketing and client-facing roles. Prior to Vanguard, he spent a decade as a financial journalist and ghostwriter, writing for Bloomberg, Morningstar, the Motley Fool, and several trade publications for advisors and RIAs. 

Allen received his MBA from the College of William and Mary and his BA from Virginia Commonwealth University. He also holds multiple FINRA licenses, including the Series 7, 63, and 24, and is a graduate of the Securities Industry Institute, sponsored by SIFMA and The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
