Craig Hempstead

Craig Hempstead is a Managing Director focused on Fund Management for Direct Lending. He is based in New York.

Prior to joining Carlyle, Craig was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs where he managed the Asset Management Division Public Product Controllers team. Prior to that, Craig worked at JP Morgan Chase in the Controllers Division.  Craig started his career in public accounting at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. 

Craig received his M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from New York University's Stern School of Business. He received a B.A. in International Relations and Spanish Literature from Colgate University.
