Andrew Hill

Andrew Hill is a Principal focused on investment opportunities in the energy, power and utilities, and environmental services sectors. He is based on New York.

Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Hill was a Vice President at Macquarie Investment Management, where he focused on investment grade, high yield, and leveraged loans in the power and utilities, midstream and oilfield services, and chemicals sectors. Prior to Macquarie, he was a desk analyst at UBS focused on stressed and distressed credit opportunities across multiple sectors. Before entering finance, Mr. Hill served as a submarine officer in the U.S Navy.

Andrew received his M.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and a B.S. in Economics from the United States Naval Academy. He is a chartered financial analyst (CFA) charterholder.
