Shiho Takano

Shiho Takano started her career as a Marketing Specialist and Manager in Meiji Co., Ltd., Yves Saint Laurent Parfum Co., Ltd, Coca-Cola (Japan) Company, Limited, and Boots MC.  She has extensive experience of strategic planning and new business development. From 2004, she was the President of L’Occitane Japon, where she made the largest sales and profits among the global branches of L’Occitane International S.A. and contributed to its listing in the Hong Kong market.  Concurrently she served as the President of Melvita JAPON K.K. and Le Convent Des Minimes Japon Co., Ltd.

She is currently the President of her company, Etoile Ltd. She is also a board member of Fujita Kanko Inc., Tokiwa Corporation., AOI TYO Holdings Inc., UNITED ARROWS LTD. and the Japan Basketball Association. In the past, she was a board member of Morinaga & Co., Ltd.(from 2018 to June, 2022).
