Steve Hatfield

Steve Hatfield is Co-Head, Global Sustainability at Carlyle. He is based in Washington, DC. 

Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Hatfield helped lead ESG integration across investments at Cerberus Capital Management. Prior to that, Mr. Hatfield was a Manager at PwC where he advised clients in many sectors, including private equity and asset management, on ESG and sustainability related matters.

Mr. Hatfield received his from M.B.A in Renewable Energy from Marylhurst University and a B.B.A. in Accounting from James Madison University. He is a licensed CPA in Maryland and Virginia and holds ESG certifications including LEED GA, SASB FSA, and GHG-IQ.
