Josh Lefkowitz

Joshua Lefkowitz is a Managing Director and Chief Legal Officer of Global Credit. He is based in New York. 

Prior to joining Carlyle in April 2018, Mr. Lefkowitz was a Principal at Ares and previously worked at American Capital, Ltd., until it was acquired by Ares. Mr. Lefkowitz began his legal career as an associate at the law firms of Mayer Brown and Stroock & Stroock & Lavan.  Mr. Lefkowitz graduated from the University of Rochester and received his law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center.​
