Sammy Kandiel

Sammy Kandiel is a Principal focused on tax-related matters in the energy and infrastructure sectors. He is based in Washington, DC. 

Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Kandiel was a Tax Director with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he provided tax services to private equity clients as well as large multinational corporations with significant investments in joint ventures. Prior to that, Mr. Kandiel was the Domestic Partnership Compliance Reporting Leader with the General Electric Corporate Tax team. 

Mr. Kandiel received his MS in taxation from Pace University. He received his BS in accounting from Syracuse University.
